UCT Opera School graduate and member of the award-winning South African Sopranos, Lynelle is no stranger to the stage.

Operatically, she’s performed locally and abroad in various productions, more recently as Julie in Cape Town Opera’s UK tour of Showboat, Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro, and Saartjie in the award-winning Poskantoor (Aardklop festival). 

 
 

Lynelle became a beloved TV personality as the runner-up in the Top Billing Presenter Search in 2012, subsequently joining Pasella as a presenter and expanding her skills by adding voice over artist, MC and motivational speaker to her vast repertoire.

Career highlights include performing with Katherine Jenkins, and master classes with Juilliard's Brian Zeger.

Since 2013, she has been making a name for herself in the musical theatre industry, starring in the two David Kramer productions "Blood Brothers” and “Orpheus in Africa”, and later this year will see her as leading lady Maria in West Side Story (Artscape), and making her silver screen debut in "Twee grade van moord".

Kykers het Lynelle leer ken as die naaswenner in Top Billing se aanbiedersoektog en later ook ‘n geliefde aanbieder op Pasella, maar hierdie trotse Paarliet het eintlik haar loopbaan op die verhoog begin.

Sy’t reeds op skool deel uitgemaak van die Suid-Afrikaanse Jeugkoor en die bekroonde Stellen-berg Meisiekoor, en het daarna haar passie bevorder met ‘n Performer’s Diploma in Opera vanaf UCT se Operaskool.

 
 

As ‘n professionele sopraan het sy al plaaslik en internasionaal verskeie rolle vertolk, mees onlangs as Julie in die Verenigde Koningkryk toer van Kaapstad Opera se Show Boat, Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro, en Saartjie in die bekroonde Poskantoor (Aardklop).

Buiten haar TV- , gasspreker- en MC werk tree sy ook gereeld op as lid van die Kanna-bekroonde Suid-Afrikaanse Soprane onder leiding van Niel Rademan.

Sedert 2013 maak sy opgang as Musiekblyfspel aktrise in twee David Kramer produksies, “Blood Brothers”, en “Orpheus in Africa”, en later vanjaar betree sy die hoofrol van Maria in West Side Story (Kunstekaap).
